Emma is an Occupational Therapist student by day and a passionate dancer by heart. She has been volunteering since she was young. She loves interacting with different people and has always felt deeply connected to serving and supporting others. Growing up, she trained in various styles of dance and developed a strong love for movement, creativity, and expression. She always dreamed of combining her two favorite passions in life.

When she recognized the need for adaptive dance classes in the community, she immediately shared this idea with the dancers at SJ Productions. In this supportive environment, she received strong encouragement to start this non-profit initiative. She truly believes she would not have been able to do this without such a supportive team. Through this journey, Emma is grateful to finally bring her two favorite worlds together in such a meaningful way.

Emma brings to the team her skills as both a student occupational therapist and a dancer. She understands that every individual has unique needs, strengths, and ways of engaging in meaningful occupations. Supporting individuals with diverse needs is a core part of occupational therapy practice. By providing adaptive strategies, modifying activities, creating inclusive spaces, and addressing systemic and individual barriers, she aims to promote meaningful occupational participation, belonging, and empowerment through dance.
