About Bella

Bella Cosacescu is a Vancouver-based dance and movement teacher with six years of teaching experience working with students of all ages and abilities. From introducing young children with physical and developmental disabilities to the joy of movement, to supporting professional ballet dancers through Pilates and strength training, Bella is passionate about making dance accessible, empowering, and meaningful for every student.

Before becoming a full-time teacher, Bella performed professionally at Tokyo Disney Resort as both a face character performer and parade performer. Her professional performance background, combined with her knowledge of body mechanics, movement, expression, and pedagogy, gives her a unique and well-rounded approach to teaching.

Bella is also on the autism spectrum herself and brings her lived experience into the classroom. She understands firsthand the importance of creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels comfortable, supported, and celebrated. She is passionate about adapting her teaching to meet each student where they are and believes that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the confidence, creativity, and joy that dance can bring.
